Government officials in South Africa realize that immigrating to a foreign land is a big decision that cannot be made lightly. As a result, they instituted what is called a work seeker’s permit.
This permit allows foreigners to enter South Africa once they have been offered a position at a South African company. This permit makes it possible for tentative immigrants to meet future co-workers, learn more about the company, and see what life will be like should they take the position.
